Contributions


Accepted contributions will be summarized to a book of abstracts provided with an ISBN, which all symposium participants receive included in the symposium papers. The authors of selected excellent contributions will be invited to publish them as a paper in Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management (2015 Impact Factor 1.422).

The submitted manuscripts should be significantly enhanced and updated from the original short abstract published in the proceedings of the 9th ISFR 2017. Please note that only manuscripts containing data and information beyond the material presented in the proceedings of the 9th ISFR 2017 will be accepted for publication. All manuscripts for the 9th ISFR 2017 special issue of JMCWM will be subject to follow standard rules and review process for peer reviewed papers; including the review of each manuscript by at least two international experts. The deadline for paper submission is October 15, 2017 with no extensions. Instruction for Authors is available at JMCWM site on Springer Link. Abstract

For abstract submission please use registration form. The submitted abstract should provide an overview of the work going to be presented on the symposium. The author can propose its preferred type of contribution either oral presentation or poster presentation. The final decision about the acceptance and type of contribution is subjected to the scientific committee when revising the abstracts.

Extended Abstract

(for invited or accepted contributions)

For extended abstract submission please use following Microsoft Word template. The submitted extended abstract should provide a proper summary of the work going to be presented on the symposium on max. 2 page. Please, send the final version of extended abstract to conference e-mail: isfr@vsb-tuo.cz. In its subject indicate your name, surname, contribution title.

Oral presentation

The length of oral presentation is 15 minutes including the discussion to the topic. It should be supported by Microsoft Power Point presentation (file format .pptx or .ppt). The lecturers should arrive to the lecturer room 15 minutes before the session starts to load the presentation and check if it works.

Poster presentation

The poster presentation will be held according the programme in the foyer of assembly hall. The recommended poster size is A0. The display desk size is 841 (width) x 1189 (height).

The cash payment at the place of the conference will be accepted. The price includes VAT, organization costs, book of abstracts, lunch during conference sessions, coffee breaks, welcome party, dinner, gala dinner and gift bag. The prices for technical tours are not included. They must be paid separately (fee for a tour is 25 EUR).

The conference fee is recommended to be paid by bank transfer. The bank details are below. Confirmation of payment will be sent via e-mail after payment reception.
